 free pets classifieds | Lost Australian Shepherd 12/31/08 Truckee, CA On 12/31/08, my sweet blue merle Australian Shepherd "Cracker" went missing from the east end of Donner Lake when fireworks spooked him. Since it has been so long we are getting discouraged, but are continuing our search efforts and widening our search area. We have had virtually no leads on his whereabouts and fear he has been removed from the Truckee/Tahoe area. We are asking folks to keep an eye out for "for sale" Aussies in their areas that match Cracker's description. He is a 4 yr old blue merle, neutered, microchipped, but not wearing collar or tags. His coat is silver gray, mottled w/ black, snowy white chest & ruff, gray folded ears, small amount of brown on his face. Eyes are mismatched, 1 eye blue, other eye 1/2 brown 1/2 blue. He is well trained, loving with "his" family, but skittish around small children. He LOVES playing Frisbee. If you think you see a posting that matches Cracker's description, could you please notify me? We follow up on every lead. A reward is offered. Thanks for your help. We can use all the eyes out there to find Cracker. Since my wife's death, Cracker has been my constant and devoted companion and I am truly lost without him.
