Hi My Name is Sapphire.
I am a Pure Doberman and Pure Rottweiler Mix
I was the largest female out of a litter of 14 puppies.
We were an accidental litter and my parents owners did not want us.
I was rescued by my previous owner when my brothers and sisters were taking to a kill shelter when I was only 8 weeks old.
My previous owner passed away from old age and she has left me in the caring hands of my current foster mommy.
I just turned two years old on June 28, 2009.
I weigh about 90 pounds.
I am up to date on all of my shots and heart Worm Medicine.
I know how to sit, stay, come, lay down, and of course I am house trained.
I am really great with kids, but because of my size I have to be careful around the little ones.
I love the game tug of war and I really like to take long walks or run around a big enclosed field with my foster mommy.
I really enjoy tennis balls to chew on or just run and go get and I like to play a funny version of soccer.
I jump really high.
When I am out running about some people comment that I look like gazelle or deer the way I jump over bushes and tall grass.
I am a big lap dog and love to curl up next to my foster mommy no matter where we are.
I love tummy rubs and I am very loyal.
I am looking for a good home, one that has people to play with and lots of love.

It was my grandmother who died and left her with out a stable home.
She is a fantastic dog sweet, loving, and only wants attention, exercise and lots of love.
I would like to put sapphire up for adoption because working full time and going to school full time she does not get the proper attention she deserves.
