I am a holistic breeder which means I do not use chemicals or drugs when raising my puppies.  I use different natural things which you can read about on my website.  www.buttercuppuppies­.com Many vets recommend immunizations while the puppies are quite young and this damages their immune system.  No puppy should ever be immunized before the age of 14 weeks as it still has natural immunity from mama, no matter what age they are weaned.  Michigan law states that the only vaccine required is the rabies vaccine and this is to be done at 4 months of age or older to get a license. There has also never been any studies done on re-vaccinating a puppy/dog.  It is the vaccine manufactures who recommend it. Most shots last a lifetime and some last 7 years.  It is very damaging to keep giving them shots that are doing nothing but setting up your pet to have problems down the road.  It is very harmful and many vets believe it is the reason so many dogs are dying from cancer, have skin problems, etc... .I believe in building up their immune systems instead of damaging it.
