I've owned it since it was the size of a pencil. It's now about 3 feet long. Early on I put a Bioactive Substrate in the tank with plants and it's worked great. There is no cleaning the tank. Just mixing the soil up once in a while. No odor. Tank has a heating pad and a lamp. I'm selling the snake and the tank together. Altogether I've put over $400 into the snake and setup.
